Well hello there!
So I know I posted a Journal entry a while back about trying not to be so inactive.... whoops. I tried to throw some stuff up tonight before going to bed so I hope that makes up for some of my time not doing anything productive
I'm still working out the kinks in getting rolling with digital art, but based on the results I'm getting I just don't feel like my art is at the level where digital art or drawing programs is going to make it look any prettier or whatever. So for now I'm going to work on warm ups with my computer and whatever crummy drawing software I have and focus more on traditional drawing. Maybe at least until I have my own style down for a while, it seems to change on me often.
I'm thinking about doing commissions since I've only ever just taken requests and given people my work without charge. However I feel like now is a good time so that I can work on possibly having this change into a professional thing (and I need to start looking for a job bleh.). I already had a friend mention to me today making a comic or a graphic novel of some kind, so I guess that could be something for me to look into.
Also, I was introduced to the Wacom tablet website via ad XD. So now I'm desperately wishing for a gorgeous tablet without much delay and pressure recognition stuff and something where I can actually see where i am physically and digitally putting my pen. It seems great since I'm thinking my tablet really wasn't made for the whole art thing anyways (its actually my dad's, which he got so he could do businessy stuff with it).
But yeah for now I'll probably do commissions or something, so if you want me to draw something for you I'm sure we could work something out, just shoot me a message or something. I have a tumblr if you want to ask me about it there,
stardustseraph.tumblr.com/ I'm more than likely to practice it a thousand times before I finally get something that will look great for you because I'm just that kind of person ^^
Well that's it for now, l8tr~
